Hello World!
At 42, with three almost grown sons, and life full of unexpected twists, I’m learning seasons of marriage, motherhood, faith, and personal growth are never quite what you imagine. For years, I have written social media posts that connected with women, journal entries that reminded and encouraged myself, and words that have carried over time. But when I thought about doing this space, I feared my words would be gobbled up in the abyss of noise and information overload.
INFORMATION OVERLOAD – happens when the amount of information we’re exposed to exceeds our ability to process it effectively. It’s like trying to drink from a fire hose of knowledge, news, social media, emails, notifications, and content – ALL AT ONCE.
I don’t want to be another voice vying for your attention in an already loud world. I want this space to be a bridge – leading you, if only for a moment, closer to the ultimate Source of love, life, and freedom. Jesus is my quiet Hope in the middle of life’s chaos, the One who steadies me when the world becomes too much. And because, I know Hope isn’t meant to be tucked away, I said, “What the heck…” threw caution to the wind, and I started this blog to cultivate a safe space to give voice and vocabulary to those messy, joyful, and sometimes painful parts of life that we don’t like to talk about.

I don’t know what this will look like, but I do know how to speak honestly, share openly, and point back to Him, the ultimate Source, for every person walking a messy, beautiful, and real life. I am a woman who loves big, lives big, and wants to share the BIG things of God.
I’ll sign off with something I tell people I love …
ALWAYS IN YOUR CORNER,
LaVerne
